What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is an online research/citation management tool that allows you to collect, store, and manage information.

With RefWorks, you can:

  • create your own database of references
  • export references from article databases and from the Web
  • generate in-text citations and bibliographies

 Accessing RefWorks:

  • Use the link above to login to RefWorks

Creating an Account: Important: New users must first create an individual account in order to use RefWorks:

  1. After accessing RefWorks, you will come to the login page. Make sure you see Frontier Nursing University in the login area.
  2. Click on "Sign up for a New Account."
  3. Complete the Account Information and User Information sections (Note: you must use your Frontier email address, e.g.
  4. Click "Create Account."
  5. You will now be logged in to your new account.
