Research Journal Articles

Table of Contents from research journals

Recent Articles from Research Journals

This guide provides you with easy access to the table of contents for selected nursing research journals. The journals are grouped by subject. Click on one of the subjects listed on the left and you will then see the journal titles with links to recently published articles.  Once you click on a link, you may have to log in to the FNU portal to view the full text.

This sampling of journal articles will provide you with examples of research articles and help keep you up to date with new research.  Keep in mind, however, that if you are looking for articles on a specific topic, it may be best to do a literature search in one of our online databases. You may want to start with one of these:

MEDLINE - for medical topics

CINAHL - for nursing or other allied health topics

PsycINFO - for psychology topics

Go to the Databases page for a full list of our electronic resources.

What is this?

These tables of contents are provided by using RSS feeds.  RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.  It is a way to deliver regularly changing web content. When there is new information for the feed (in this case new journal articles), it is automatically updated.  Many websites syndicate their content using RSS.  This symbol indicates that a feed is available.
